Cbank: Promsvyazbank leads in Oct precious metals reserve growth
MOSCOW, Nov 28 (PRIME) -- Promsvyazbank became the growth leader of precious metals reserves among Russian banks in October as its reserves rose by 4.4 tonnes to 6.8 tonnes of gold equivalent, as seen by PRIME in the materials of the central bank on Thursday.
Reserves of precious metals of Sovcombank went up 2.9 tonnes to 5.2 tonnes of gold equivalent, while reserves of Sberbank rose 1.8 tonnes to 22.5 tonnes. The top three banks by precious metals reserves were VTB Bank with 52.3 tonnes, Sberbank, and Gazprombank with 9.3 tonnes.
Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank reduced its reserves by 26%, or by 3.3 tonnes, while Asian-Pacific Bank cut its reserves by 436 kilograms, and CentroCredit Bank by 111 kilograms.
